Anyone born on or after January 1, 1975 must show proof of having completed a Hunter Education Course unless you’ve previously held a hunting license from another state. These courses are open to anyone, however, who would like to take the course and participate in Field Days. Minimum age for hunting big game in Idaho has been lowered from 12 to 10. This new law took effect July 1, 2014. Clark Fork Delta Restoration to begin in earnest from November 2014 through March 2015, when Lake Pend Oreille in northern Idaho is drawn down. Road improvements were made and the staging of equipment and raw materials took place this summer. The project is being implemented through a partnership between numerous public and private entities.
